During my first year at Willem de Kooning I chose to participate in the NN North Sea Jazz art poster contest elective. We got lessons about jazz, graphic designers, music and more.
My goal was to create a dynamic design which captures the rythim of music and I really wanted it to be a fun poster for younger and older people.

This was my original design but I was asked to make some color changes.
So I designed a a lot of new options & tried out many color combinations.
